Custom Tattoos

Let’s design your custom tattoo! Lately I’ve been most excited about black and white botanicals and nature inspired fine line designs - but really just let me know what you have in mind and I’ll tell you if it’s within my skillset.

How it works:
1. Tell me your idea

Fill out my booking form to give me all the details about your tattoo idea. This includes things like approximate size, placement, reference photos, etc. Once I have this info, I will send you an estimated price range for the tattoo. Currently, my custom rates generally fall somewhere between $200 - $600 depending on size and detail.

2. Tattoo Consult

If the price estimate is within your budget, we’ll schedule a short video call to talk about your design and give us both the opportunity to ask questions about the tattoo process and your design preferences.

3. Send deposit and start drawing

Next, I’ll collect a deposit and start drawing your tattoo design. The deposit will go towards the final price of your tattoo. It covers the cost of my drawing time, and is a way for you to “commit” to the tattoo.

4. Design review and confirm price

I’ll send you a design to review within a couple of weeks. Custom tattoos are a collaborative process, so I always send designs with the expectation that there may be edits and fine-tuning. Please do not be shy about sharing your ideas or concerns!

If for some reason you decide to change the subject of your tattoo (for example, we started out designing a rose tattoo but you change your mind and want to get an apple tattoo instead), there will be additional fees that I’ll share with you before proceeding with that change.

Once we’ve made edits and are both excited about the design, I’ll share a final tattoo price with you. This will be based on the size, detail, and difficulty of the tattoo design we’ve created.

5. Schedule appointment

After we’ve finalized your design and agreed on the price, we’ll schedule your tattoo appointment. I have a private home studio in South Slope, Brooklyn. I’ll send you all paperwork and aftercare info for you to review before your appointment. Please just let me know if you have questions ahead of time!
